Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid Launch Artist Series


In 2013, Subaru debuted the XV Crosstrek Hybrid, a car that was as environmentally friendly to drive as it was to manufacture. Illustrations were commissioned from three independent artists for the debut at the New York Auto Show. By eliminating the typical paper brochure, and replacing it with freshly screen printed  t-shirts, visitors were treated to reusable memento, and an experience that reflected the brand's ideals. More than just party favors, the t-shirts used image recognition technology, where each unique design triggered multiple pages of dynamic content fulfilling all the functions of a paper brochure, without the unnecessary waste.
