2013 THE DESIGNORY

Subaru Core Technologies Interactive

Subaru line of model apps include demonstrations on core technologies, including Subaru AWD and Subaru’s best-in-class boxer engine. This portion of the model app attempts to simply demonstrate each technology for the tablet-based interactive environment.

Balance

Using the acceleromoter capabilities of the device, an interactive demonstration of the balancing effect of a lower center of gravity takes affect. Pulling the word 'Balance' towards the bottom of the screen simultaneously levels out the surface, illustrating greater handling and agility with the Subaru Boxer engine.

Interactive demonstration showing AWD in action. User feels resistance on moving call-to-action when Subaru AWD is off, in contrast with ease of motion when turned on.
